Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

OpenCognit is an open-source AI agent orchestration platform developed and maintained by Panto (Germany). Contact: https://github.com/OpenCognit/OpenCognit/issues

2. What Data We Collect

When you use the hosted demo or contact us:

  • Email address (if you sign up or contact us)
  • Usage data (anonymized, no cookies)
  • API keys you enter (stored locally in your self-hosted SQLite database — never transmitted to us)

  • When you self-host OpenCognit:

All data stays entirely on your infrastructure. We have no access to your data, agents, or API keys.

    3. How We Use Your Data

    We use data solely to:

  • Operate and improve the platform
  • Respond to support requests
  • Send product updates (only with explicit consent)

  • We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.

    4. Cookies and Analytics

This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. No advertising trackers, no third-party cookies.

    5. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data (right to erasure)
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability

  • To exercise these rights, contact: https://github.com/OpenCognit/OpenCognit/issues

    6. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. For self-hosted instances, security is the responsibility of the operator.

    7. Third-Party Services

OpenCognit integrates with LLM providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, etc.) via API keys you provide. Your prompts and agent data are sent directly from your instance to these providers — subject to their respective privacy policies.

    8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The latest version is always available at opencognit.mytherrablockchain.org/privacy.
